TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. PAYS TRIBUTE TO DEALERS FOR OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Toshiba Office Equipment Dealers Honored at the 17th Annual ProMasters Award Ceremonies
IRVINE , California ( Oct 19, 2009 ) :
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the recipients of the annual ProMasters Service Awards. The award serves to recognize dealers who provide their customers with exceptional technical support and customer service. This year, 79 dealers from the US, Latin and South America, and the Caribbean were recognized with either the ProMasters Service Award or the Top Achievement Award. The awards program was developed seventeen years ago with the aim of motivating and ensuring that the independent and direct channel dealers delivered the best customer service and technical expertise possible, on a consistent basis.
"It’s with great pride that we honor these elite dealers,” said George Colborn, vice president, Service, TABS. “Now more than ever, customer service and support is what differentiates businesses in the marketplace and helps grow success – so we are thrilled to see these companies taking that message to heart and achieving great things."
This distinction is reserved for a few select dealers that have met and surpassed high standards, rigorous evaluations, an ongoing qualification process, and a commitment that never ceases to demonstrate their dedication to customer service and technical knowledge in support of Toshiba products, software and services. Dealers earning at least 700 out of a possible 1,000 in the evaluation process receive the honor of the ProMaster designation. Smith Provisions Goes With Toshiba Product and Hagan Business Machines for Their Banner Printing Needs!
Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 3:38 PM (EDT)
Recently Smith Provisions purchased a new Toshiba 2830C for their main corporate location. When the machine was shown to them, one of the key focus points was the banner print mode. They did not think they would use it but then found out that they had won a major contract for the Pittsburgh Panthers. Our sales rep was surprised to see the how fantastic the banner looked on Toshiba's Aqua Ace Paper. Look for these banners to be in stores where Smith Products are now sold. These banners would normally cost over $50.00 if they were sent out to print but with the Toshiba E Studio Color Series, they can do these for much less and change them on demand. Contact Hagan Business Machines for a full demo on this product!
Toshiba's New Product Line-Offered Exclusively From Hagan Business Machines

TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. ROUNDS-OUT MONOCHROME
LINE-UP WITH NINE NEW E-STUDIO MODELS
Color Scanning with e-STUDIO455 Series Creates Affordable Solution for
IRVINE, Calif., (June 11, 2009) – Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the expansion of its monochrome MFP product offering with the new Toshiba
e-STUDIO™205L/255/305/355/455 and e-STUDIO555/655/755/855 Series. Each line comes with a host of compelling features for businesses of all sizes, including: print and scan standard; a full-color touch-screen LCD control panel; scan-to, and print-from-USB accessibility from the front of the machine; and impressive monthly copy volumes. Like all of Toshiba’s color models, these nine new monochrome machines feature Toshiba’s third generation e-BRIDGE controller with Open Platform architecture. This technology allows third-party software applications, such as Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange, to integrate directly with the e-STUDIO device. Additionally, the Toshiba e-STUDIO455 Series provides color scanning functionality right out of the box.
“These new lines complete our total monochrome product offering to provide the perfect product for any type of end-user,” said Joseph Contreras, director, Product and Solutions Marketing, TABS. “Additionally, color scanning on the e-STUDIO455 Series is a significant

improvement from previous models and a valuable cost-saving feature for small to mid-size businesses that may need color scanning but do not require full-color output.”
Color Alternative e-STUDIO455 Series
Designed for small- to medium-sized workgroups, the clean-sheet Toshiba
e-STUDIO205L/255/305/355/455 Series features copying and printing speeds of 20, 25, 30, 35, 45 ppm, and high copy volumes of 80K, 100K, 120K, 125K and 150K respectively. Customers looking for color scanning functions will find the e-STUDIO455 Series a low-cost alternative to purchasing a full-color MFP device. Documents can now be captured, managed, and stored as color images and then reproduced clearly in black and white for consistent and more professional-looking results.
Reliable and Efficient e-STUDIO855 Series
The e-STUDIO555/655/755/855 Series was developed for medium-sized businesses, large workgroups and departmental users within major organizations and offers copy and print speeds of 55, 65, 75 and 85 ppm respectively. The high monthly copy volumes of 460K, 515K, 540K and 600K respectively and periodic maintenance intervals make these machines highly reliable for increased office productivity. The exceptional toner yield (62.4K), ability to change the toner while the system is running, and the Toshiba-exclusive re-buildable service modules (which allow periodic maintenance to be carried out in minutes rather than hours) are valuable and differentiating design features.
Specifically, the re-buildable service module concept refers to the practice of building MFP parts prior to service, then simply replacing them as a whole rather than tearing down and rebuilding the machine, which often takes hours and interrupts office workflow. These periodic maintenance service modules also are available on the e-STUDIO455 Series.

Resource Conservation, Uncompromised Experience
Toshiba is mindful of the environment and continually strives to conserve natural resources without compromising consumer productivity. Both the e-STUDIO455 and
e-STUDIO855 Series have attained the latest Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Energy
Star Tier Two rating. In fact, they are the first Toshiba systems with a Super-sleep mode that
consumes only one watt of power – the lowest of any MFP in this class today. In addition, both product lines feature quick start-up technology to reduce power consumption, have the Blue Angel Mark, and are Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant.
Other environmentally-friendly features of both series include, but are not limited to:
• Outside Edge Erase – Detects and erases the dark outside edge of copies and scans to reduce consumable usage. (e-STUDIO455 only)
• Private Print and Hold Print – Reduces unintentional consumable waste and saves operational costs because if the user forgets to pick up the job, the job never prints.
• Omit Blank Page – Automatically identifies blank pages in the original document when scanning or printing and omits them when printing or saving. (e-STUDIO455 only)
The security of data, documents and networks has become extremely important in today’s business environment. The e-STUDIO455 and e-STUDIO855 Series were developed to strike the perfect balance between security and ease-of-use. The Scrambler Board, once an option, is now standard and provides 128-bit AES encryption to all data stored on the hard drive. The Disk-Overwrite Kit further writes over any data temporarily stored on the drive during the copying and scanning process multiple times and exceeds Department of Defense (DoD) security standards. Additionally, Full Network Authentication requires users to log-in to gain access to device features and functions.
The e-STUDIO455 and e-STUDIO855 Series are available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers. To find an authorized Toshiba dealer nearest you, or for more
